Our aims/goals include glorifying God and helping to enhance the worship and praise of the Lord. With this in mind, our stewards help to build up the church and create an atmosphere of welcome and a sense of belonging. We make all visitors welcome, especially people with special needs and disability. Our stewards show a deep commitment to Christ and to His church.
Our objectives include ensuring that there are organised church services, through committed, well-trained and spiritually guided and motivated stewards. Also, ensuring worship is conducted in an atmosphere or reverence and honour to God.
Membership is open to all members of the Upper Clapton United Reformed Church, and a full formal training is given.
Our expectations of the stewards include performing their duties to the best of their abilities for the glory of God.
